Our story

It all began with a mother’s concern: my daughter’s ears were becoming misshapen during her sleep. A small worry that changed our daily life.
Like many parents, I first observed, anxious. Night after night, her ears folded, creased, and little by little, although they were naturally well-positioned, they began to stick out.
I then searched for a solution. I searched the internet, compared, questioned, explored everything that existed… but nothing truly met this very specific need. Nothing gentle, effective, comfortable, and suitable for a very young baby.

And then one day, the obvious became clear

Since this solution didn’t exist, I had to create it myself.

So I imagined a small bonnet for my daughter: a simple bonnet, without pretension, designed with love and common sense.

My daughter became my model, my inspiration, the one thanks to whom it all began.

The very first prototype was extremely basic: no finishing, just two simple strings under the chin. And yet the result was immediate. Her little ears were perfectly held, naturally positioned, with no discomfort at all.

The bonnet quickly became part of our daily life. I would sometimes leave it on her head while breastfeeding, as it was so comfortable. It was during one of these suspended moments, watching her feed peacefully, that I felt a revelation: if I had struggled to find this solution, how many other parents were looking for it without success?

From that moment on, the bonnet took on another dimension

I decided to protect this invention and give it an official existence by starting the process with the INPI, the French National Institute of Industrial Property. Then came the waiting. Nine months during which the institute checked and explored all global databases to ensure that this idea did not exist anywhere else. A wait almost symbolic, equivalent to the length of a pregnancy.

When the patent was granted, I felt an intense emotion, a little like a birth. This bonnet, born from a desire to help my child and made with love, had become in some way my fourth baby.

Everything was then redesigned: making it beautiful, practical, safe, easy to use, and above all adaptable to all babies. After months of testing, adjustments, and improvements, I found the perfect shape, the ideal fastenings, and the finishes that make all the difference.

Thirteen years during which I have received countless messages from grateful parents. Knowing that this invention, born from a mother’s concern and created with heart, has helped so many families is deeply rewarding for me.

Today, Baby’s Bonnette is much more than a bonnet: it is a gentle, breathable, and safe solution, tested and approved by thousands of parents. It preserves the natural shape of babies’ ears without disturbing their sleep.
